The Lovely Heather

I got to photograph Heather with her beautiful infectious smile, that could literally melt anyone's heart. I kept asking her to allow me to photograph her cause lets face it she's the perfect model, she knows how to have a great time. We had so many laughs and almost moments of us falling on our faces but she was great she had so many smiles, goofy faces, and of course the serious ones.

I asked Heather a couple of questions and this is her response, I asked "Why did she wanted to get these photos done? And why did she pick a graveyard as her location for photos?"  "Well.... I decided to finally do it because I am 35 and never really have. I feel so good about myself and it took a long time to get that way. I may not be perfect but I am happy with who I am. The people I'm my life who know and love me and the love I have tried to give to myself is a huge reason I feel beautiful. I haven't done a photo shoot because I never wanted to come across as vain, but anyone who actually know me know that I am not vain, but I have gotten confident I appreciate the beauty in everything, why not a graveyard." "Death is a form of beauty. They all lived once, why not let them live in photos again"

The thing with Heather that we had said and it fit so well with her and the shoot, was that she is so colorful, full of life, and always have a smile no matter what, she can be in a long shift or tired but will always smile but even with a smile she can also have a dark side to show and that she is human, just like the rest of the world. Thank you Heather for capturing these amazing photos with me :)

"Normal people have no idea how beautiful the darkness is"

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before."-Edgar Allan

It’s that heart of gold, & stardust soul that make you beautiful.

"To the people who love you, you are beautiful already. This is not because they're blind to your shortcomings but because they so clearly see your soul. Your shortcomings then dim by comparison. The people who care about you are willing to let you be imperfect and beautiful, too."
